Favors
Favors do not have to fancy. In fact, they can be as simple as candy wrapped in netting, but you should give it plenty of thought because it is a way to thank your guest for taking the to share in your celebration.
Just about anything you can think of can be a favor, but here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Wedding frames that can be used to hold place cards for reception seating. You may also want to consider putting a picture of you and your spouse.
- A votive candle and crystal candle holder
- Personalized chocolates
- Potpourri
- Miniature soaps
- A drawer sachet
- Personalized bookmarks or notepads
- Small personalized bottles of wine
- Disposable cameras
- Figurines
- Small, decorative boxes
- Engraved key chains
- Flowers
- Seasonal favors (i.e. Christmas ornaments, miniature Easter baskets or plastic pumpkins filled with candy)
Something to consider
If you are working on a small budget, get some of your artsy-craftsy friends and family members together and make the favors yourself. With a few craft supplies and some ingenuity you can make unique, inexpensive favors that your guests will love for their personal touch.
