Favors

Favors do not have to fancy. In fact, they can be as simple as candy wrapped in netting, but you should give it plenty of thought because it is a way to thank your guest for taking the to share in your celebration.

Just about anything you can think of can be a favor, but here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Wedding frames that can be used to hold place cards for reception seating. You may also want to consider putting a picture of you and your spouse.

  • A votive candle and crystal candle holder

  • Personalized chocolates

  • Potpourri

  • Miniature soaps

  • A drawer sachet

  • Personalized bookmarks or notepads

  • Small personalized bottles of wine

  • Disposable cameras

  • Figurines

  • Small, decorative boxes

  • Engraved key chains

  • Flowers

  • Seasonal favors (i.e. Christmas ornaments, miniature Easter baskets or plastic pumpkins filled with candy)

Something to consider

If you are working on a small budget, get some of your artsy-craftsy friends and family members together and make the favors yourself. With a few craft supplies and some ingenuity you can make unique, inexpensive favors that your guests will love for their personal touch.
